WEM was selected to produce a two-day pediatric innovation summit, in its second year, for Boston Children’s Hospital—the nation’s leading pediatric hospital. The event attracts an international audience of clinicians, hospital c-suite executives, and life science leaders.
WEM increased total revenue by 538 percent over the previous year and attendance by 26% percent, fully selling out all available tickets. We also booked three times as many sponsors and partners over the previous year—all while decreasing marketing expenditures significantly. We provided comprehensive planning, production, budgeting and logistics—including identifying and booking all program speakers; designing, implementing and managing a partner program that included corporate, media and association sponsors; and audience development and marketing. We also worked closely with stakeholders at Boston Children’s Hospital.
Among the new programmatic elements we created for this event were a “Shark Tank-styled” panel with Daymond John; a keynote speaker program with Dr.Ezekiel “Zeke” Emanuel, Carlos Dominguez, Jack Andraka and Bill Taylor; and a revamped awards program bestowing lifetime impact and rising star awards.
