For business, healthcare, nonprofits or political campaigns, we create high-impact events, meetings and conferences. Our services include complete event consulting, planning and production.
The Power of Live Events
In an age when so many of our interactions are mediated by digital technologies, live events stand out. Live events can be transforming. A live event unites people around an idea, a mission, or a vision of what could be. People learn and connect at live events—and they take action. At WEM, we know what it takes to turn a group of unique individuals into an excited audience that shares your vision and ideals.
Best practices. New practices.
We have a knack for planning and executing highly effective events. From defining (and refining) the concept to delivering on every detail, we have the experience, the knowledge and the expertise that make great events happen.
Sponsors and donors want value and validation. Attendees want an experience that will empower and excite them. At WEM, we’ve created successful events for clients in healthcare, politics and government, business, and education.
We‘ve built events from scratch and also taken over the reins of well-established events. In the process, we’ve honed our expertise in creative and efficient problem-solving. We’ve achieved impressive fundraising and sponsorship goals. And we’ve created real impact for our clients. When we’re part of your team, your goals become our goals.
Creative. Strategic. Effective.
WEM has built a powerful network of suppliers, contractors, experts and vendors who give us exceptional flexibility and enhance our capacity. This deep bench allows us to manage large and small projects and to deploy resources for the greatest value. We can provide comprehensive event or meeting design and planning, marketing, fundraising and production for a wide variety of events. No matter how complex your event or goals, we have the team to realize your vision.
President and Founder
Kim Whittaker has been involved in event planning, production, fundraising and management for over 25 years. Kim created and ran Boston’s Biggest Baby Faire, growing the expo into six major markets. The Boston Business Journal named Baby Faire to its ranking of New England’s top 10 consumer events. Kim began her career at the World Trade Center Boston (now Seaport World Trade Center Boston) where she was the director of the World Trade Center Club. She oversaw communication, finance, and marketing and produced events for a roster of 400 Boston business leaders. She later consulted to WTCB on business development strategies and created a portfolio of owned and operated event properties to increase occupancy and efficiencies in the exhibit hall and conference center.
Kim is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts. She lives in Winchester, MA with her husband and their two sons.
